product of the week: String pocket

I string pocket and am waiting for mine to arrive any day now, I love the versatility of the simple yet timeless design, I can't decide what to disply on mine yet, but watch this space....
 
string pocket shelving is the 'starter' or smallest composition in the String collection. Designed in 1949 by Swedish architect Nils Strinning, String has won several coveted awards. Its simple construction of a powder coated steel frame on which wooden elements hang gives the String Shelving system a refined, timeless unpretentious appeal which add to its enduring popularity and highly practical versatility.
the string pocket pack is an all-in-one box set comprising of a composition made up of three shelves and two side panels in various colour ways, offering a complete 'starter' shelving system from the String range. It consists of a wall shelf of two side panels (50cm high by 15cm deep) and three shelves which are 60cm long.
